One of the most popular television shows of all time, Friends is an American television sitcom that many believed shaped the sitcom genre. It was created by David Crane and Marta Kauffman and ran for ten seasons. The show began airing on September 22, 1994, and concluded on May 6, 2004. Friends follows the lives of a group of six friends who live in Manhattan.
