President George W. Bush is on a media tear as of late. First after having not said one bad thing about President Obama in his eight years in office, Bush comes out only one month into Trump’s term and has some questions for him just like the rest of us. Bush wants answers on Russia and he wants the American people to be informed. He also said how the media is invaluable to democracy. Then he goes on the Today show to bring up a time when his daughter Jenna Bush had a fake ID. The latest in the “George W. Bush publicity tour” had him visit Jimmy Kimmel Live where he was asked a series of questions about Donald Trump as well as Will Ferrell.
To his recollection he had no idea whether it was Ferrell or him who came up with the famous term “strategery.” What’s amazing about this interview and the public perception of George W. Bush in the last few weeks, it’s that I never thought I would see this day. People are revering George W. Bush right now. It’s not because deep down they think he was a great President. It’s because they are petrified of Donald Trump being the President.
